Week Two

I chose this image to represent this assignment because this is how I want to visualize myself in 10 years and forever, at the top of the ladder and still looking for other opportunities to better myself and my life. This image stuck out to me because the top of the ladder is in the sky, and to me that symbolizes endless opportunities and always reaching as high as you can possibly go. Optimisim is the key to success.
Me in 10 years

  1. I would like to see myself settled in 10 years.

  2. I would like to see myself happy in my career

  3. I want to be continuing moving up the career ladder and bettering myself in what I do.

  4. I would like to see myself with a stable home life with a husband and children.

  5. I want to have a good and completed education.

  6. I want to see myself with a wide range of possibilities concerning my career, being able to transfer work, and perhaps going to school again.

  7. I would like to in a higher position than that in which I started out in 10 years before.

  8. I would like to have had lots of experience in many different jobs within my career.

  9. I would like to have helped many people.

  10. Most importantly I would like to be happy with my life and myself.

II. What can I do now to get there?

In these next five months before I enter the world and begin a very serious part of my life, these are ten thing I need to do to prepare myself first:

  1. Study, study, study

  2. Keep my goals in mind and stay focused.

  3. Remain diligent, diligence will take you far wherever you are.

  4. Take what I learn in school and life and apply it to the future. This helps you be prepared in future for situations that you may not have been prepared for.

  5. Stay focused on what it is I am working for. This helps me feel motivated.

  6. I should take every task and assignment seriously, they are there for a reason.

  7. Work hard and always do the very best I can possibly do in everything.

  8. It would help me in these next five months to do a little bit of research on the career I want to enter.

  9. I should concentrate on enhancing the skills necessary for my future, such as communication, how to present myself in a professional environment, and people skills.

  10. The last thing would be to not get distracted and overcome all obstacles. Every bit of hard work is worth it.
